Your PE Subject Knowledge Quiz

Written by James Simms | Dec 13, 2023 5:00:00 PM

I have decided to write a post that challenges you to consider your level of PE subject knowledge. I am doing this because many PE colleagues have mentioned to me that they value the opportunity to reflect on strengths and weaknesses and have a candid approach to subject knowledge.

The following test has these assumptions:

  • You are a PE teacher.
  • You wish to check on different areas of subject-specific knowledge in relation to classroom/qualification-based PE teaching.
  • This is not part of any official process such as performance management. This is absolutely NOT what this page is for.
  • You are interested in feedback on a broad range of subject knowledge.

So, with these things in mind, take a look at the challenge below. Remember: no one else can see your score (including my team or I) unless you show your result to someone else.

Answer all questions correctly to get feedback.

 Conclusions

So, how did you get on? What was your score? Was there anything that surprised you? Does this mini-quiz give you a desire to learn more in any particular direction? If so, I urge you to begin anticipating the release of our new CPD platform in September 2024. As part of our TheEverLearner.com 2.0 project, we are building a very broad subject knowledge opportunity for all PE teachers. More details about this offer will follow in early 2024.

Have a lovely day.
