This course is aimed at all PE teachers who teach either in a classroom, in practical PE lessons or both. Understanding planes and axes is a fundamental feature of a robust PE teacher subject knowledge and can be utilised in many different ways. The fundamental intuition of planes and axes is to provide accurate, concise movement descriptions and be able to convey these both internally and externally. This course explores the fundamental principles of planes and axes as well as guiding PE teachers on how to teach them if planes and axes is a required feature of a GCSE or A-level or BTEC course, for example.
