Understanding Movement: Teaching Planes and Axes
Understanding planes and axes is a fundamental feature of a robust PE teacher's subject knowledge and can be utilised in many different ways. The fundamental intuition of planes and axes is to provide accurate, concise movement descriptions and be able to convey these both internally and externally. This course explores the fundamental principles of planes and axes, as well as guiding PE teachers on how to teach them if planes and axes are a required feature of a GCSE, A-level or BTEC course, for example. This course is aimed at all PE teachers who teach either in a classroom, in practical PE lessons or both. Course certification will be coming very soon.
