Dual coding in the PE Classroom Part 1

Course completion is achieved by >90% of tutorials viewed AND 80% score on both course checkpoints. Certification will be made available soon. This course should be considered essential study for any PE teacher delivering an examination PE or Sport course. Within it, we explore Paivio's dual coding theory, a core ingredient to a robust understanding of cognitive science. This course is entirely applied to the teaching of qualification PE with all examples and applications being specific to theory PE teaching. This course should be studied alongside all courses in the cognitive science section of The Academy as well as pedagogical courses. We particularly recommend the importance of courses on Spacing and Questioning Techniques in relation to this course.
