Metacognition in the PE Classroom Part 1

PE Cognitive Science

Part 1: This course explores the core requirement of developing metacognitive strategies in order to succeed in PE courses. Metacognition is a core ingredient to a robust understanding of cognitive science. This course is entirely applied to the teaching of qualification PE, with all examples and applications being specific to theory PE teaching. This course should be studied alongside all courses in the cognitive science section as well as pedagogical courses. We particularly recommend the importance of courses on spacing and questioning techniques in relation to this course. Course certification is now available.
