Levers

PE Subject Knowledge

This course covers the intuition of levers, how they are formatted, classified and also how to teach levers in PE. This course should be studied in association with other biomechanics subject-knowledge courses as well as alongside the Rosenshine's principles course in the PE Pedagogy area of The Academy. Finally, teachers should consider studying the dual-coding course in relation to levers. Levers are a highly movement-based and visual concept and are well served by an understanding of DCT. Course certification will be coming very soon.
